Lake District & Stuff ♥

If you have read my previous blog, you will know that we had to go up to the Lake district briefly on business. We stay the one night on Friday, and it just wasn't long enough! We didn't get there until around half 8 on the night, so everywhere was pitch black and we didn't realise what view we had. We woke up to a fresh, crisp morning, everywhere frosted with thick ice, and all you could see were snow topped mountains. It was beautiful. The hotel was on a hill, so the view was great. We were so impressed with the hotel that we have now booked to return on pleasure so we can spend some more time there, and explore because I had to work the next day we had to return.

Do excuse the pictures, as they were all taken while we were driving!

The main view as you walked out the hotel.

The Castle Green hotel in Kendal. To have a better look if you are thinking of going to the Lakes, click HERE

Lake Windermere...and squirly tree! I can't wait to go back and take some proper shots in March. I am taking Ed for his birthday so we can have a nice relax and explore. The actual part we stayed in was Kendal, where Kendal Mint cake is made! So we could hardly come home without any! Yummy!

Also, coming back to my previous blog where I was trying out Tesco's facial cleansers and the maybelline foam mousse foundation...I take some of it back what I said. The foundation is very deceiving when you have it on your hand and doesn't look like its going to cover anything. It is very wet on your brush, but it really does cover any red patches and blotches. It is a light to medium coverage, but as it is dewy and wet, it is great for putting powder on top as it acts as a sticky base, then soon dries. So I'd give it a 8 out of ten for a light coverage foundation, if you are to cover over it with powder. Also, it is very quick and easy to apply, and when you are up at stupid o'clock for work, it comes in handy!
As for Tesco's cucumber facial range, I have been using it with the Witchstick and my spots are clearing up nicely. My face feels really fresh after using them, and for the money, they get  10 out of 10 from me.

I've also dyed my hair a bit. Put a bit of blonde in it, although it's more towards ginger especially in this picture! I will do it again soon so it's lighter, but there you go. That's what you get for paying a fiver and not £100 a go, but I'm not really bothered, at least it's a bit of dimension, I'm so bored with my hair.
I have also just completed my last ever weekend at work. I cannot wait just not have to get up in the dark now. Seems people there are dropping like flies now from what I hear along the grapevine, makes you wonder. 5 days to go, last ever Monday tomorrow!

Update & Tesco Cleansing Range Review! ♥

I appear to be slacking on this at the moment! It is purely due to no time, and not much excitement really. I'm sitting here with my head covered in foil at the moment, putting a few blonde streaks in. You have no idea how difficult it is, putting streaks in on your own! So if this turns out any good, it'll be a miracle! I'll probably put a picture up if it hasn't turned out too bad! Fingers crossed! We are off to Cumbria today on business so should be good! Booked the hotel last night and it looks lovely, right in the lake district. I guess there are some perks to working in the hotel industry, so I'm taking great advantage while I can in my last week!

A couple of days ago I wasn't feeling too well, so Ed had been looking after me and did me breakfast before I went to work at half 6 in the morning! It was so cute, mmm Marmite on toast and a banana to take! I absolutely love Marmite!

The diet has appeared to have gone out the window...It is so hard. I went to Moms yesterday and bought us a strawberry pavlova each from Sainsburys. Oh my life they are amazing. It has strawberries on, so thats one of our 5 a day isn't it?! Haha! Plus I am taking cakes into work on Friday, so it's only right we try them out isn't it?

We also went for a chinese last night, which was really nice. Happy Chinese new year by the way! I just wanted to put this on because we were reading the dessert menu, and Toffee Apples and Toffee bananas aren't available Saturdays 8pm - 10pm! We thought it was hilarious. So at 7.45pm, it's still OK to have a toffee banana....Okey dokey then!

We went for a shop round Tesco afterwards, and this is Ed with a little bird having a shop around! The poor birdie couldn't find the bread aisle, so Ed we helped him! Gotta love Eds face too hehehe <3

And Ed wanted a little go in Rupert the Bear's car. In a suit, it's just brilliant.

So I bought a couple of things to try at Tesco. I had seen a few people on youtube recommending Tesco's cucumber facial skin care range, so I thought I'd give it a go. It is an absolute bargain as every product in the range is under 80p! So I got each product in the range apart from the wipes, because I always use huggies pure because they are thicker. So I tried it last night, beginning with the face scrub. It felt really nice once lathered on the skin, and has ex foliating beads in, which got rid of a lot of my make up. My face felt refreshed from just using that alone. Then I used the cleanser and toner, which got rid of the remains of my make up, and finished off with the moisture cream. It absorbed into my skin very quickly, and it feels all soft the morning after! I think it's a total bargain, and is suitable for all skin types. All the ingredients are natural and it smells lovely and fresh. I'd definitely recommend it!

Also as you can see, I purchased the new Maybelline Air Foam foundation. I don't know whether it was Tesco, or Maybelline themselves but there was copious amounts of cellotape holding the lid on of the bottle. It took me absolutely ages to get into it, I bent my nails back, and sliced my thumb open with scissors trying to get into it! I wasn't a happy bunny, so that's the first negative. When I eventually got into it, I shook the bottle as instructed, and I pressed on the top to release the first blob of mousse. There is a plastic seal you have to break so you actually end up squirting out more than you need. Also the foundation came out white at first. It is literally the consistency of hair mousse, and I tried it on the back of my hand. It is extremely thin and quite sticky actually. It seems pretty see through, but I have yet to try it on my face. At the moment as it stands, for £6.99 I don't think it's going to be worth it. But I shall let you know as soon as I have tried It on my face I'll let you know!

So I've waffled on enough now, and I'm going to wash out my hair and see how that's turned out!

Tickets and Cake ♥

Wow it's been a good few days since I have posted! Sorry. I just haven't had a lot of time on my hands since I've been back at work. It still doesn't really feel like I am leaving yet, and I only have 1 week and 4 days left, which alternatively equates to 9 more shifts then I'm outta there. It's creeping up on me now!
So anyway, the title is pretty much as it says on the tin, meaning our Marina and the Diamonds tickets have come! Weheyyyy! We are going down to Cambridge on 24th February to see her, staying over then continuing to Brighton just for a day out, staying there then coming back on the Sunday. So hopefully I will have a blog of nice pics after that! If you don't know of Marina and the Diamonds I would recommend checking her out on Youtube. She is a great alternative pop artist with a definitive, unique style, and we have been big fans since her first single 'Hollywood'. We saw her in London in November and she was amazing live.

Woohoo!!! <3

I haven't really been up to anything exciting. We cooked for Eds family on Sunday, Ed did dinner and I did pudding. I have a trademark chocolate fudge cake, and it is stodgy as anything but it tastes soooo good. Not recommended if you are calorie counting!

The remaining slice! But I'm sure it isn't going to last very long. I'll let you into a secret...the link to the recipe ! It really is easy and doesn't take very long. The only thing you have to wait a couple of hours for is the Ganache Icing to set, but if you haven't got much time, I also recommend the Betty Crocker Chocolate Frosting. It's already made and only about £2.

Unfortunately I have come out in a huge breakout around my lips. Ughh I hate spots, no matter how much concealer I use, the little blighters show through somehow. I have just purchased the Witch Blemish Stick, which was around £2.50. I have got a terrible habit of continuously picking at spots, then you get a never ending bleed and so on and so forth. Gross! However, I put this on top this morning and it has actually dried it up straight away. So at the moment, I do recommend this but we shall see if they clear up and how long they will stay away for.

Right, time for me to get ready for work, yet again, otherwise I'm probably going to be late. Hopefully I will blog sooner than later! I'm off to Cumbria on business with Ed on Friday but will be back Saturday hopefully with some pictures too.

MUA Review etc ♥

As in the previous blog, you will know I bought some MUA products from Superdrug, so I will show you a look I created for under a tenner! Firstly though, I also purchased an Accesorize nail polish in 'Dream', and I put it over two coats of a No7 nail polish 'Sing the blues' which looks great. It gives 'Dream' a really intense glitter look, and has a beautiful shimmer to it. However, it is CHIPTASTIC. I am really disappointed. I painted them before bed and even put my failsafe Sally Hansen diamond shine topcoat on them, and the morning after every nail was chipped on the tips. I did manage to wear it all day before taking it off, but it really didn't last long at all. So it probably is best for a party or night out, but if you are wanting to wear it longer term, for a few days, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it =(

My fingers looks more dodgy than usual, so apologies about that! But as you can see, nail colour is gorgeous, it just does not last. Oh and that's my engagement ring! Only one in the whole world, I am very lucky and I look at it every day. I can't wait until the day we get married <3

I have now re-painted my nails with Barry M shade 293 Grey. It feels quite chip resistant at the moment, but I've only had it on for about an hour so we shall soon find out. I really like the colour though, it's very opaque and two coats was more than enough really. It also dried very quickly, so for £2.99, bargain.

This make up look is from the MUA products I purchased. It is literally under a tenner. The eyeshadows are completely amazing for a pound. They are SO pigmented and the colours are lovely. They are really bright and they literally didn't budge all day. On my eyebrows I used a mix between their brown liner pencil, clear mascara and their brown eyeshadow. They all worked great together, so just like a makeshift eyebrow kit. My lips are shade 12 I think! I'll have to double check, but you don't really need the lipgloss over it. I did put it over, but the lipstick is fairly wet anyway, and does stay on for a few hours. For a pound you can't go wrong, so go get some basics, and back ups.
Lappy battery is dying now, so I'll see you guys later.

Mini Haul & Update ♥

Oh my life it's been ages since I've managed to do a blog. It just shows you how much the hours at work buggers up my day. I'm so tired, and feel so sluggish compared to when I was off, all I want to do is get into bed. I was planning to do that after work today, but I ended up going for a little mooch around the shops, when I really shouldn't have because I'm fully skint, but oh well! So first I have a few pics to put up which I have been meaning to do.

This is Rupert, giving me a big kiss! I love him he is my in laws dog, who is a Briard who is just like a big cuddly bear. Aww he's just so cute <3

This was Sunday lunch for this week at the in laws. We had a chinese themed dinner for chinese new year, which was really nice, but we had grapes in the fruit salad for pud... We were highly amused. Don't we all look hot?

This is a half eaten Lumpy Bumpy cake from work. It is like a toffee sponge, with cream in and a fudgey, caramel topping. Oh my god it's like heaven. My diet has literally gone down the pan, but for Lumpy Bumpy, man it's worth it. I won't be able to have this once I've left work, so I am fully making the most of it. I have decided I'm going to join weight watchers too once I move on, because the hours are normal, I'm going to be able to attend the meetings, so fingers crossed I follow that through, or no skydive for me =S

Lucy, doing her usual smiley with grub! Hilarious! Bit of a squished beef cob I think she called it, we were obviously busy at lunch time... =D Btw, like my pink ski jacket in the background? It's very sexy. Especially with the lovely blob of black paint it has down the front, just really adds to it.

This was a look of the day about 2 days ago that I wore to work. We can't really get away with heavy colours on our eyes, which is hard for me because I love my brights, so the only way of introducing them is to put colours on as a liner. I created this look with the Gosh Quad Pallette 32 Evergreen. I have had it for 2 years I think and still haven't quite ran out. The colours in it are gorgeous and I've used every one of them. They are highly pigmented so you don't need that much. I use a basic tube of lipbalm on my eyelids as a primer before eyeshadow. You can get like a trio of lipbalm tubes from Wilkinsons or bodycare for about a pound, and they really do make great primers. I find with liquid primers you get a lot of creases in the socketline, with the eyeshadow moving about, but with a more firmer base like lipbalm they stick really well - and it's a good moisturiser for your eyelids! ;) The Gosh quads are around £8.50 in Superdrug at the moment, I always find they hold all day too, so a good investment. Emeralds & Turquoises suit brown hair and/or brown eyes too I think, my eyes are hazely with squints of green so that's why I like to wear it.

Here's my mini haul! It's mostly from Superdrug and Bodycare because I only got cheap things as I'm skint! From Bodycare I got the tail comb, because the two I previously had have gone walkies, and that was about 75p. I got some St. Moriz medium mousse tan, about £2.19 and the mitt was around the same. It is the best 'budget' fake tan I have ever used. My friend from Uni got me onto it, and I've never looked back. It's a really natural glow, instant, and not streaky in the slightest. You have to be quite quick with the application though otherwise it will streak because it works by clinging onto the skin rapidly. I tend to apply it in circular motions rather than up and down, always works a treat for me, so have a go. For 2 quid, it's hard to resist! I also got the 'Scandaleyes' mascara from Rimmel. It has been reduced everywhere to £4.99, so I am wondering why. I am yet to try it so I'll review it after I have, and see if there's a problem!

From Boots I just got a Barry M nailpaint in Grey. A lady came into work with the same colour on, and I just thought it looked really nice, and would be great with a glitter topcoat. Then I hit Superdrug, or I should say Superdrug hit me. The MUA range in there is the really cheap stuff, most of the things are all a pound. I have already got a couple of products, including a cream highlighter eyeshadow, which actually I swear by and it is really pigmented. I have bought a blue mascara before and it wasn't that great, so I think it's one of those ranges that have lucky finds in them. So I bought most of it...

I got 5 eyeliner pencils, which have the in-built sharpener in the lid a bit like the E.L.F ones, 5 eyeshadows, a lipstick and a lipgloss. I swatched the lipstick in the shop and it still stayed on my hand for a good while, so hopefully it's a winner. The lipgloss actually smells amazing too. Again, I am yet to try it all, but more than likely will do tomorrow, and will let you know which I think are the best products. I also got the accessorize 3D glitter nail polish in 'Dream'. This was £4.00 and I had seen some youtubers talking about the accessorize range so I thought I'd try it. I have put it over a No. 7 dark blue colour called 'Sing the blues', and it actually looks really nice. I shall take a picture to see what you all think, and put it up tomorrow!
I'm finally where I wanted to be all day, bed. So catch you guys later.

Skydive ♥

I got all the forms today for my skydive! It is going to be on the 15th April in Cirencester, and the deposit is paid for. I'm so like OMG I can't believe I am actually doing this, but it's something I've wanted to do even from a young age, and this year I shall conquer it - I hope! So now is the time to get sponsored. Of course I am diving for charity, and all proceeds go to the British Heart Foundation. Unfortunately ten years ago a cousin of mine passed away very young and suddenly due to a heart problem, so any time my family does any fundraising it is to go to the British Heart Foundation. I have from now until April to make as much as I can, so if you can spare a penny or a pound, please drop me an email at tillybrookes@hotmail.com and I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you.

I am scared. And so flippin excited!!!

Ed has put up our new chandelier today in our lounge. He's liking doing DIY at the moment, so his new name is Bob. It's a really powerful light, enough bulbs to light half a football pitch! Looks nice all the same. Anyway...I thought I'd take a picture of my main make up box. This is no where near everything I have make up wise because I do have an obsession with the stuff, but it's quite a bit and I love my box of tricks!

I think these a generally called a train case? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's what they are known as. Mine is mostly full of Barry M products, especially Dazzle dusts as I've said before. I got the case from the Birmingham Hollistic Health and beauty show at the NEC, which unfortunately is trade only, but if you look online you may be able to grab some tickets. It's a good day out, not as much content as the clothes show obviously, but I got a few good products that I use often from there. The box was around £30 I think, but they had loads of different ones. I'd probably have a look on Ebay if you are after one of these, because websites like Beauty Boxes UK can be a bit of a rip off.

So my obsession with Barry M came about when I was at college, because I dyed my fringe different colours,  I always wanted my eyeshadow to match. Barry M is of course renowned for it's pigmented, bright colours, so I changed my fringe each week matched the eyeshadow to suit. For Example...

Those were the days. It is the worst feeling looking back at photo's of yourself wishing you were back at that point, being able to look how you want to look and not give a crap. I would do anything to go back to that. My figure, my hair, my skin blah blah blah. It's all but a distant memory now, and I can't imagine ever being able to get it all back. Part of growing older I guess. I miss my hair so much, which is really sad actually but it gave me massive confidence, stupid as it sounds. Oh well, serious life now. Job and place to pay for and all that. If you are at college or uni, bloody enjoy yourself because it's over in a snippet. Oh and take an abundance of photos.

Waffle Waffle and review ♥

I am knackered. I tell you what I'm not going to miss. I'm not going to miss sitting on a desk until 11pm at night. I'm not going to miss coming home in the dark, and getting back up in the dark to be back on the desk for quarter to 7 in the morning. I'm not going to miss feeling knackered because of the inconsistency of my hours. Etcetera. There are certainly things - well, people, I will miss, but being back reminds me of the things I won't. I do feel quite detached now unfortunately, and I am counting down the last weeks. Wish I could just talk to the girls all day instead. We love a good gossip.
So this might be a bit of a long one, I have a few pictures! Probably not interesting but oh well, the little 'X' is in the right hand corner if you get bored :)
I have been saying about a few different reviews for ages but haven't got round to doing them, so in this one they shall be! Firstly though, just some goings on...

This was tonight's dinner. Chicken and bacon risotto. Unappetizing picture I'm afraid, however, I have never in my life cooked risotto before but it was absolutely amazing!!! If one does say so herself... It was so tasty and filling, an all rounder. Find the recipe HERE so you can try it yourself. Good to Know is a great website for recipes and advice. It's the first place I look for either! It says use pudding rice but I actually did use aboria proper risotto rice, I also only used one stock cube because the bacon is salty enough as it is. I also put a dash of garlic salt, dried mix herbs and a splash of white wine in it, to give it my own kick. Mmm we have full bellies!

(Sorry for out of focus pic, my camera is giving me major grief) This is what the risotto took however, a nice grated thumb! Grating the parmeraggiano into it, I thought a bit of thumb would be a nice, tasty, secret ingredient. Not recommended in the recipe for some reason though, funny that.

This is our new fire. It looks really cosy in our lounge now. I came home last night and Ed had put it all up and set it up for us. So cute <3 It's a bit warmer in here now! Just a quickie, does anyone else find that new Weight watchers advert profusely aggravating?! Ughh the song is the most irritating noise EVER! Rant over...
So, onto the beauty bit and finished with the first part of boredom...

I've been meaning to review this since Christmas so sorry it's been so long. It is Vera Wang's newest addition which is called LoveStruck. The bottle is gorgeous and is the same design for each size, which is great because with a lot of brands, smaller sizes have a simplified design. The scent is very light and floral, with a sweet hint at the top. I do like sweet perfumes such as Britney Spears midnight fantasy for a cheapish one. Gucci Guilty is a beaut too. I have a perfume  from Next actually that is £6.50 for a 30ml bottle and it is called Adore. Whenever I have it on, everyone seems to say something along the lines of 'Ooo that Gucci Guilty is lovely', and think it's that! So if you want to cheat, grab yourself a bottle of that. It hangs around too. I'm not sure if they do it in full Next stores, I personally get it from Next Clearance in Derby, but they may do!

This is the nail varnish I got the other day that I previously mentioned. I love the neutral shades that are coming in at the moment, and this was a cheap enough one to try. The shade is Werewolf and is from George at Asda. It's a pastel brown shade really, and paints on quite well. It does need 2 coats to really perfect it and dries pretty quickly. I've had it on about 3 days now and still hasn't chipped much. That maybe due to my genius top coat however! It is Sally Hansens Diamond shine. You can use it on it's own and it hardens brittle nails instantly and dries in about 10 seconds, or you can use it as a top coat and it is protective and makes any nail varnish look really shiny. It is quite pricey at about a tenner, but it's worth every penny. The George nail range is about £1.50 per pot, the quality of each colour actually does differ, but in this case it's a thumbs up from me for the price. Apologies for my fingers, they are guilty of a terrible biting habit!

I also explained about getting the Collection 2000 concealer in my previous blog. Everyone seriously raves about this on blogger and youtube, so I went out and got it! It was £4 and I got it in the shade '1 Fair'. It really is as good as you guys say! It brightens, covers, and sticks around. It's called Lasting perfection, so put that on your next haul list. On the picture I left part of the swatch as it was applied, and towards the right, I blended it a little to show you how good it is. It has an applicator the same as a lipgloss, nice and easy. Go buy!
Underneath is the swatch of the warming powder by Bare Minerals. I got this as part of the starter kit set, which has an RRP of about £50, but I got it free as part of a scheme from work. Rather than a bronzer, it is more matte, and you only need the slightest bit on your brush. Too much though and you are left with a big block of colour on your face, so do watch that if you are considering the product. It's £19 on it's own, and I am a tight arse and known for not spending that sort of money on one make up item. I am obsessed with make up, and anyone that knows me would tell you the same, but I don't like to spend a lot when I am always determined to find something better and cheaper. On those terms, I don't know if I'd re-purchase, but I am actually yet to find something as good, so my theory may be beaten.
I've never owned a Mac product in my life, and everyone raves about it. But I strongly believe it's half down to the application! If I ever get any, then I will fully make my mind up.

So that's it for now, if your still with me. If there's anything anyone wants reviewing let me know. Barry M is of course my forte, and I have pretty much every Dazzle Dust, so if you aren't sure on one, I can tell you about it!
Ciao for now guys xXx

Last Day of Holiday ♥

Unfortunately my holiday from work ends today. I am back tomorrow at 2.45pm, and fully dreading it! At least I'm counting down the days now until I leave and then it's all over, with a new start. I'm feeling a bit all over the place which I guess is expected with such a big change, but it seems to be taking effect on my diet too. I haven't been very strict with myself over the last few days. We went to one of our favourite restaurants yesterday, which is Don Paco's in streetly. It's actually been renamed 'Da Gino's' I think. Here's the link if you like italian and are ever around Birmingham: Da Gino's We really like it there, the food has never faulted and the staff are genuine italian's and always happy to help. Certainly recommended. However, not recommended for when you are trying to diet, because the puddings are just yummy!
Today it began well, I had the usual banana for brekkie, and then I had poached eggs on wholemeal toast.

I have NEVER poached eggs before, so I don't know if it was beginners luck or what but they were pretty perfecto! I am shamed to say I used the Masterchef cookbook I have, and my mom told me how to do it too! Terrible, but at least I know how to get a runny yolk now woohoo! I think it is time for me to g back to work now, I'm getting far too excited about the smallest things!

I made a few more pairs of earrings today. I have decided that I'm only going to make one exact pair of each design, so that they are exclusive. I really want to keep them all but that's not good! The two pairs I made yesterday are on Ebay now, take a look if you like, and remember they are exclusive! These will be up soon.
Probably won't get chance to blog tomorrow with going back to work, because I don't finish until 11pm =( .
By the way, I've had 100 page views! So thanks to those who are reading this, if you have stayed with me this far, it is greatly appreciated! Mwah!
Ciao for now! xx

What a day ♥

I did the deed! I handed in my notice to work and have resigned. I felt so sick before I went, I can't even describe! I spent half an hour with Ed before I went but he felt just as sick as I did. Oh well, it had to be done, and it's now made me glad that I did. I came out afterwards feeling like it was the best thing I could of ever done. After handing my resignation letter over, instead of being congratulated, I was to notice that an email was being written to the potential new receptionist that will take my place. Nice. Lovely to know you are a valued member of staff that they will be sad to lose. Never mind eh, four weeks left.

So that's the letter a minute before I took it in. Over and done with now. Onwards and Upwards.

Afterwards, I popped over to Tamworth just to see what was about and kill some time.

I got these shoes that are like grey velvet with snakeskin effect edging and heels. Total bargain and I thought they would look great for my new office with a black trouser suit, for £8 who can complain! Then I also got a big hair clip so I can shove my hair up quick in the mornings, and that was £2 and really girly and floral.

Then I got this skull ring, only £2 and its gold with crystal eyes and a multi coloured flower. It's edgy and definitely moi! These were all from Matalan by the way, they haven't got much of a sale on still but the odd few bits you may find. I also got a black pencil skirt, which I do have an almost exactly the same one from International. The International one is £18 and this is so similar just without a belt and it was £3! I then ventured over to Hobbycraft. I have been looking at a lot of jewellery making videos and different beads and things on Ebay, so have been inspired to try and see what I could get. I know Hobbycraft is really pricey, but instead of getting some stuff off Ebay and waiting, I just wanted a bit of stuff to start me off.

I just got some beads, charms and findings really to start me off. It was way more pricey than online, but still I can have a go now. My favourite is the antique gold colour for Jewellery. I have about 100 necklaces and I'd say the majority of them are this colour. You can make some really vintage pieces out of it and that's what I like best!

I have seriously spent too much at Asda this month. I might as well pay my wages straight into their business accounts. However, Ed did treat me to this stuff bless him, which is cute! I got some new stationary for my new job! So I can write things down and keep well organised. I can't wait to start learning. I actually feel like I'm starting a new school or something buying stationary, I love it I'm so sad...I also got a nude George nail polish, and the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer. A lot of bloggers and youtubers seem to really rate this so I got it to try for myself. I might do a review blog on them and some other make up I have.
Finally, I managed to make two pairs of earrings. I have never made jewellery before and I can't believe how much trickier it is actually doing it rather than watching it. They make it look so easy! It took me quite a while, but here are the finished products.

I actually want to keep them with being my first designs, but I might try putting them on Ebay see if they get bid on. If not then I shall keep them!
Right then, better go to sleep. Ed is already and when I put my laptop down he has a habit of shouting out what he is dreaming about to me. Last night he was telling me that a band was massive, and they had seven number ones in two weeks, and that he couldn't believe I hadn't heard of them. It really makes me laugh, I sit here cracking up and he still doesn't wake. I'll keep you up to date with any more funny things he comes out with, because his over-active brain is actually rather entertaining!
Ciao for now! xx
