3 Random Products Review ♥

Hi guys, so as I have been saying, I am finally going to get onto a beauty review. I am just going to do it on three random products I bought recently. As you may have gathered by now, I am always best described as a bargain hunter, so if you are looking for products on a budget, hopefully I can help! It is very rare I spend a lot on one product at a time, because in life there are other things we unfortunately have to pay for. However, who says you can't treat yourself, and feel like you have a little bit of glam on your side?
I did begin with taking my own pictures, but they were very rushed this morning so I have decided to just grab them offline, so you can actually see what I am waffling on about! All images from Google Images.

Firstly, this is the 'Intimately Beckham' perfume by Victoria Beckham, and is the ladies fragrance. I know it has been out for ages now, but it is fairly priced so maybe if you see it you may want to know what it is like before you get it. I got mine for around £15.00, and I purchased it because I had ran out of the perfumes I had for Christmas so this was just to tide me over, until I can stomach buying a higher end perfume, or until my birthday. Better to have some sort of pleasant smell on you than none at all! In the UK this is available in most Superdrug, Boots or other fragrance stores/counters, but it is also readily available in supermarkets such as ASDA, I'm not too sure about overseas.
The bottle is fairly bulky with it being square, but I quite like that. I take a normal sized handbag with me if I go out and it fits in my bag fine. If not, you can always transfer it to an atomizer. Onto the scent. It is quite a 'heavy' perfume, not all light and 'floraly'. It is not something I would usually go for, however it stays put for a few hours so I like to wear it mostly if I go out, so it can be topped up throughout the night, and will hold it's scent. The perfume shop describe it as a bouquet of white flowers, with bergamot and rose petals. Being a person with a normal sense of smell, I couldn't even tell you what bergamot is...So, all in all, if you like a heavy scent, and don't want to pay too much, this is for you! I don't think I personally would re-purchase, as I like very sweet or lighter smells, BUT the Beckham signature is amazing! I was originally looking for that but Superdrug didn't have it. It is honestly really lovely, but a little more pricey than this one.

Next up, very random I know but you will see why! These are ASDA's own lipbalms. You get a pack of two  for only £1, and I couldn't actually tell you how hydrating they are for your lips...because I use them on my eyes. Weird you say? Maybe, but they sure do hold your eyeshadow! Yep, they make a great primer. My advice would be to rub your finger over the top and then onto your eyelid, as putting the stick straight onto it may cause too much product to transfer, thus creating creases. Also, you will end up with foundation all over the stick, and it will turn a nice shade of orange. Nice. So anyway, I don't know how I really discovered this but they are great for bringing out the pigment in your eyeshadows, and holding your colours until you take them off! If you have been looking for a primer, or feel they are too expensive, give this a go and I'm sure you won't be too disappointed! Nothing to lose but a quid.

And finally, the Dream nude airfoam from Maybelline. I briefly mentioned this when I bought it in a previous blog. I think when I got it it was around £7.00, and I have it in the shade 020 Cameo. I was extremely sceptical when I first got this, but now I love it and would definitely re-purchase it. Make sure you shake it up before every use, or you will get white patches in the foundation. Spray a large walnut sized blob onto the back of your hand and work quickly. Use a foundation brush or buffing brush to apply. I personally recommend the Real Techniques buffing brush for this, it takes a very short time to apply, and covers beautifully. You have to work quickly though, because as soon as you put the brush in the blob, you have began to burst bubbles and the blob 'deflates' and starts to dry on your hand. You may need another spray. It is a light coverage on the skin, and does leave a very dewy feel until it dries, then it becomes on the way to being matte. It certainly evens out my skin tone and leaves my skin looking flawless, for what feels to be a very watery consistency.
Tips: When you first open it, be careful where you first spray it as it might go everywhere, and don't forget to give it a good shake, and work quickly as it dries super quick. Otherwise, great foundation for those who like a light coverage!

So I hope these little reviews help, should be doing some more structured ones soon.
Thanks for reading and have a good day!

Weekend Antics ♥

Again, it's been a while, and I am still yet to do some beauty blogging! Forgive me, it hasn't been the top of my priority list, but I sure am going to try!
So, onto the subject...As I mentioned previously if you have read my blog before this, you would know that I went to Cambridge over the weekend to see Marina and the Diamonds. I went with my other half Ed, his sister Maria and her boyfriend Jonny. It is the second time we have seen her and I think she was even better than the first time. It was a really good gig, and with good company we had a great laugh.
Here is Marina herself! Sorry it is bad quality, it was hard to focus on her as she moves around a lot.

We checked into the hotel just before we went over to the gig, but as we were filling in the registration card, we realised Ed had forgotten our case! No clothes, make up, brush, toothbrush or anything! It wasn't great but we managed to get a toothbrush from the hotel but with everything else missing, I wasn't a pretty sight in the morning! Here was just a little instagram of my croissant in the morning, and I liked the napkins!
Add me on instagram: @untilimdazzled  see you there =)

This is Jonny and Ed. They are like tweedledum and tweedledee when they are together. Bless 'em.

So then we came back on the Saturday, and I decided to get my hair cut! I haven't had it cut in over a year. The hairdresser was telling me off for the state of it after all the bleaching and dying, and it was in such bad condition he ran his hand through it and it all broke off! I had a good two inches off, which I think has helped the condition massively. So here are some proper pictures. I decided to have a more 'glam' blow dry, I quite like it all bouncy, but it takes ages to do so I doubt I can recreate it anytime soon. Hopefully I am still pulling the blue off without looking like a real weirdo! But it's my favourite colour so I love it really!

So that is that I guess. Nothing else interesting. There is a video to put up on this blog, I've just got to piece it together, so check back soon!

It's About Time ♥

Finally. I have been feeling a little down as I have previously mentioned, and I'm sure I have mentioned how much I loved turquoise! So to cheer myself up, I thought I'd go drastic and put some colour back in my life. So welcome back to the turquoise hair! Dodgy photo I am sorry, it was taken really late and I had no make up on so had to hide the face! But you get the gist. There are really green tones in this pic too, but they are covered with the black when my hair done properly. I feel more myself. Just wish I could shift the weight now.
For work I am just going to put a wide hair band over it. I look like a bit of a hippy but that's ok if I get to be myself every weekend! People also automatically assume that I am like an 'emo' when I have this hair too, not that there is anything wrong with that...but I just personally am not like that! I am 21 and have way passed that stage, I just love the colour turquoise, so I have it in my hair. I don't dress any different, still in 'normal' sort of clothes and dress how I want. I love the art of expressing yourself, I am not going to be this age forever, so I should try and embrace it now. Just like everyone should. It is really difficult when you have restrictions like jobs, and growing of age when it becomes a little less 'socially unacceptable' to express yourself, but who cares! All it is, is a colour in my fringe, no biggie. So if you are itching to do something, just go for it, and be yourself <3

Just thought I would show you Ed's HUGE chip! We went to The Green Man in middleton, and he had fish and chips, but they were HUGE! It doesn't look so big on this picture, but if you can compare it to the fork, you can see what I mean.

So I am going to do more beauty blogs very soon, I appear to have been distracted by other subjects! By the way, the hair colour I used was Turquoise by Directions which I way prefer to stargazer. It is in a little tub so you can just use as much as you need and put the lid back on. Every sort of 3 to 4 washes I tend to re-apply it, it will last longer than that, it will just be more faded, and I like to keep it vibrant. For the black, I used Loreal Feria in 'Blackest Black'. I will put a picture of both products on a blog very soon, and a proper picture. We are seeing Marina and the Diamonds again tomorrow in Cambridge and I am excited! We aren't going to Brighton tomorrow any more because the hotel had the most awful reviews on tripadvisor, and we are having some building work done on our office so Ed needs to be home to keep an eye on the job. Hopefully we will have some good fun though!
Right I have waffled for long enough, time for bed.
Have a great day/night!

Poorly and pancakes!

Hi everyone, long time no blog again, I know. I haven't really had anything great to blog about I guess. I am in my new job now, feels all a bit strange but there you go. I have been ill with the flu too, got over that for a couple of days, and now I have the worst cold ever. I don't know what appears to be cracking on with my immune system, it's gone out the window for some reason, and I am generally not someone who ever gets ill. Bad times.

My head feels a bit full of late. I don't know, feeling a bit down and stuff, probably because of all the changes, and illness and things, but just can't seem to bring myself back up. I really miss my friends, and I guess I am feeling a little cut off. I am seeing two of them tonight so I can't wait for that, although I'm sure they can wait, having to spend the evening with a snot-monster. Nice.

I attempted to do a make up tutorial video the other day, with Ed's sister Maria. However, Ed and Maria's boyfriend Jonny were in the room, do you think we could film it? Nope. They were messing about, all the make up wasn't good because I couldn't concentrate, and although the foundation looked really bad on camera, the finish result photos were great, and it looked good in real life. So here is the messed up video, definitely worth a watch if you need a laugh!

Also, yesterday was pancake day! My poppa (or grandad if you prefer) is a mean pancake maker, so we went to Nan and Pops for it. They were really yummy, and took me straight back to when he used to do them for me when I was a little'un. We had lemon and sugar, strawberries and cream, nutella, golden syrup mmmmmm! The best!

Thats pretty much it. Oo apart from we are going to see Marina and the Diamonds again this weekend! Friday night down to Cambridge, and Saturday carrying on to Brighton. Should be fun with Maria and Jonny. I shall probably blog via my phone while we are away, or do a vlog.
Thanks for reading if you are still with me.

Happy valentines day ♥

Hello guys, blimey it has been ages since I have posted. Sorry to those who read, I have just been super busy! One of our friends has just had a baby, so here I am with baby Jak! We are Aunty Tilly and Uncle Ed. Jak is so cute I absolutely adore him! He has the softest skin ever and when Ed held him he opened his little eyes!

Scrunchy up face for Aunty Tilly hehehe :)

Open eyes for Uncle Ed :) xxx
So it's valentines day today! I have been looking forward to it for ages as we are going to a restaurant that we have been to once before that we really liked. It's pretty swanky, and I'm feeling a little like whatever I wear I will be underdressed, but you know what, I just want us to enjoy ourselves so it isn't the biggest deal what I look like I suppose! The restaurant is called Simpsons in Edgbaston, Birmingham. If you want to check out their website click HERE . We are having a ten course taster menu! I am so excited! Posh Nosh! =D
This is what Ed drew in my card <3 aww so cute. We got engaged up the Eiffel tower - if I haven't already mentioned it a million times - so he drew one for me! I got him a card with an Eiffel on the front, but me being an idiot didn't pick an envelope up with it! Nevermind, it's the words that count, can't help being a bit useless!

I have done my nails ready for tonight, here is the finished result!

This is the kit I used to create them. Boot's 200 nails kit and Primark Beauty nail varnish - believe it or not! The Boots nail kit is a definite essential. Rather than paying £25 - £30 a pop to have your nails professionally done with acrylics or gels, for £8.50 these are just as good. They last as long as you are careful with them, and the glue for them is great. I have done two sets out of them so far and both have been a success! I also prefer these because you can change the colours (don't forget to use an acetone free nail varnish remover so the nails don't dissolve!) and they don't damage your real nail underneath.

I begin by selecting the correct sizes, and  laying them out to make it easier for application. I then file the tips, and all the top surfaces of my own nails, to give a rougher surface so the nail applies with a little more security.  Begin by applying a small amount of nail glue, and spread it around with the tip of the bottle to cover all the surface of the nail. Take the false nail, and starting with the round tipped bottom of it, push onto natural nail, laying flat from the base upwards. To set, hold down the nail very tightly with finger and thumb to compress any air bubbles. Continue for all nails, and let them dry.
Take the nail varnish of your choice. As I said, I have used Primark Beauty's new range of nail paints, which are actually brilliant for £2 for a pack of 4. I think they have 4 sets at the moment, which I have all of them because they are too much of a bargain to miss out on. So, these are the metallic colours. I used the shimmery gold (second from right), and the gold holographic top coat (far left). I used two coats of the gold, although you could probably get away with only one! They dry nice and quickly too, so not much waiting around. The holographic polish spreads the glitter quite well, and I have only used 1 coat, but you can add more if you wish. I haven't put a topcoat over that, because I wanted the textured effect. And there you go! Cheap, but greatly effective nails for valentines!

Thought I would just put on the roses I got sent to work! They are totally gorgeous and covered in glitter! He's an old smoothie hehehe <3

So I hope everyone has a great rest of valentines day, and if it's not your thing, get some choccy down your neck! Have a good'un!
Ciao for now! xXx

Another Chapter Over ♥

That's the end of that then. I have finally left work to go on to pastures new. It was emotional and I have been unbelievably touched by all the lovely things I have had done for me. I had gone into work at 7am and the office was covered in balloons and banners! Lucy had gone in at like 6am to decorate it and her and Bek came in for my last day and I bought cakes in! I had a lovely good luck clover charm for my pandora, chocolates, and a pink swarvoski pen.

We went for a Thai and it was yummy. Then we went for a few drinks in Lichfield and then into Sutton. I feel extremely worse for wear today and have just stayed in bed with ed. it is snowing heavily today and everywhere is so pretty! I have finally joined the iPhone club so I'm testing out the blogger app! When I'm back on the pc, I'm going to review the naked palette and a few other things I have purchased over the last few days.

So that's the end of that, and here's to the next era.

Final Countdown ♥

So this is it. Last ever late early shift at work. I am just coming to the end of the late, and am quite looking forward to the early. I have some seriously mixed emotions though. Happy to be leaving for some reasons, and sad for others. I am going to miss the girls unbelievably. I have had a great last late shift, it's been fairly chilled, and have had a bit of a laugh. I am definately going to have to wear waterproof mascara tomorrow!

I have been to Primark with my friend Lucy today, and spent far too much. However I did need something to wear for my leaving do tomorrow night, and I have also got a 4 peice suit from there, so I don't think it's too bad really. I have also finally purchased the Urban Decay NAKED palette! Wahooo! Can't believe how long it has taken me to decide to get it. I have never spent that much on make up before, I hope it is worth it as much as everyone on here says. I have no pictures today because of all thats going on, but I probably willdo on Saturday after my leaving do. We are going for a nice meal and then some drinks. Cannot wait!

So here we go. Probably a rather sleepless night, half excitement and half anxiety. End of an era, and the beginning of the next chapter of my little life!
